Delivery Prices & Times
At Crawfords Metal Detectors, we offer FREE delivery on UK* orders priced at £99 or above. *Excludes Highlands and Islands.
Our standard delivery service is typically Next Working Day** via a trusted courier service. To qualify for next working day dispatch, your order must be placed prior to 2pm on a working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.
Important Information
*Free delivery and next day delivery does not apply to UK Highlands and Islands, including Northern Ireland, due to distances and cost. Next Day Free Delivery is only available to the mainlands of England, Wales and the South of Scotland.
**Please note: Next working day refers to the standard working week (Monday to Friday). Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, or bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Larger and bulkier items such as full-length spades may require a different courier service and may not be delivered next working day.
While our courier partners often deliver faster than expected, delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
Orders under £99 are subject to delivery charges based on product size, weight, and destination. Delivery options and costs will be displayed clearly during checkout.
Dispatch Process
Our warehouse team aims to dispatch all orders placed before 2pm on a working day as quickly as possible. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details where applicable.
If you have not received dispatch confirmation within 48 working hours, please contact our team and we will be happy to check the status of your order.

Delivery
While we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or time slots, some orders may require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive your order where required.
Secure Courier Delivery & PIN Verification
To help protect customers against parcel theft, fraudulent claims, and mis-deliveries, some orders are shipped using secure PIN verification services through our courier partners, including DPD.
For these deliveries:
- A valid mobile telephone number must be provided when placing your order.
- You may receive a unique delivery PIN directly from the courier.
- The driver will require this PIN before the parcel can be handed over.
- Parcels cannot be delivered without successful PIN verification where this service is active.
This security measure helps ensure that high-value orders arrive safely and reach the intended recipient.
If you request that your order is sent without PIN verification, you accept full responsibility for the parcel once delivery has been completed by the courier.

you acknowledge and agree that Crawfords Metal Detectors cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or delivery disputes relating to parcels delivered without secure PIN verification.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

We primarily ship orders within the United Kingdom. If you require delivery outside of the UK, please contact our sales team before placing your order so we can advise on availability and costs.
